Buying Foreclosures in a Market Downturn

Almost every news report these days is talking about the dire state of the real estate market. Foreclosures have increased dramatically – up 93% from last year. Lenders are faced with massive write off amounts and new construction has slowed as inventory levels of existing homes surged upward. No doubt a grim picture for most groups involved in real estate, but definitely not all.
