As you know by now, millions of Americans will be receiving an economic stimulus payment from the IRS by the end of the summer. If you take a closer look at the phrase “economic stimulus check” what do you see? Simply put, the government wants you to spend this money to stimulate the economy. In other words, if everybody who receives a check puts it into the bank and does nothing, the results will be a total flop. Of course, this is far from realistic. But with that being said: how many people are really going to spend this payment on frivolous items when there are more important expenses to be taken care of?

They have decided that this is the best way to stimulate the economy, and with the first checks due to be sent out within the next month or so, early results will be available soon enough. It is there hopes that these payments will not only boost the economy, but also create hundreds of thousands of jobs for out of work Americans.
